There is a forest full of green leaves and icy patches. A timid little girl curious about adventure started her journey to the lake in the mid forest. She saw amazing tree which could walk and she wowed.
The timid little girl, her coat wrapped tightly around her small frame, marvelled at the walking tree. Its bark shimmered faintly under the canopy of leaves, its roots shifting gracefully as though they were legs. She hesitated at first, clutching the strap of her satchel nervously, but the wonder of the moment pulled her forward.
The tree stopped mid-step, sensing her presence. Its "face," a pattern of knotted wood and moss that resembled eyes and a mouth, turned toward her. A low, creaking sound emanated from it—like the groan of a forest waking up—and to her astonishment, it spoke.
"Young wanderer, what brings you to the heart of this forest?" its voice was deep but warm, like the sound of the wind through old trees.
The girl swallowed her fear and stepped closer, her boots crunching on the icy patches. "I... I wanted to see the lake. They say it's magic."
The tree chuckled, a sound like rustling leaves. "Magic, you say? Indeed, the lake holds power. But you must tread carefully; the forest tests those who seek its heart."
She tilted her head, curiosity eclipsing her fear. "Tests? What kind of tests?"
"Patience, courage, and kindness," the tree replied. "You will find trials on your path, but the lake rewards those who stay true to themselves."
The girl nodded, her determination growing. "I can do that!" she said, more to herself than the tree.
The walking tree extended a branch toward her with a slow, deliberate movement. Dangling from the branch was a small, glowing fruit. "Take this, young one. It will guide you when the path is unclear."
She accepted the fruit with trembling hands, the glow casting a soft light on her face. "Thank you," she whispered, bowing her head.
The tree nodded in return, then turned and continued its slow, deliberate march deeper into the forest. The girl watched it go, the icy ground sparkling in the faint light of the fruit. With renewed courage, she adjusted her satchel and set off toward the lake, ready to face whatever challenges the forest had in store.
Unbeknownst to her, small, glowing eyes watched her from the shadows, curious and wary. The forest was alive, and her adventure was only just beginning.
